Who You Are:
You live in mood boards, you’re constantly inspired by scroll-stopping content and your saved folders are jam-packed with aesthetics and trends. You have a refined taste level that can be manipulated to meet platform trends when & where they’re cropping up. You understand brand integrity, and can readily translate any brand book into compelling content for the modern parent: this ranges from series content, to aesthetic videos, to memes, to campaign teasers & launches, to BTS, to employee hot takes, to street interviews, to content that ‘feels totally unexpected for a baby + kid foods brand but makes total sense.’
This role will work in partnership with our Social Media Strategist and report directly to our Director of Brand Content. You will be crucial in defining and executing on how Little Spoon shows up in the world, and will need an acute understanding of each platform (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube and LinkedIn) to create visually compelling and authentic brand moments that create brand affinity and drive consideration. What You’ll Do:
Content Creation
- Be comfortable shooting content in front of the camera and have a natural ability to connect with our audience through your presence, personality and charisma
- Film and edit customer and culturally relevant-first creative content that is engaging, modern, authentic and relatable to tell our brand story and grow our social presence
- Bring concept to reality through creative best practices and understanding the ever-changing social media landscape
- Own end-to-end content creation process from a social-first production perspective including pre-production planning (shot lists, scripts, etc.) to post-production (stills, filming, editing, sound design), native to each social media platform
- Stay ahead of social media trends, challenges and cultural moments to execute relevant and timely content in real time into the broader social media calendar
- Experiment with new and various formats/techniques alongside key learnings to keep content fresh, relevant and engaging
- Distill creative briefs and be able to efficiently execute production
Content Management
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and develop innovative social-first concepts that resonate with our audience
- Collaborate with the Social Media Strategist and key stakeholders to deliver fresh, innovative, high-taste ideas that consider performance and optimization strategies
- Adhere to deadlines based on the content calendar and ensure a smooth project flow in collaboration with the Social Media Strategist
- Maintain a library of assets, ensuring all raw and final materials are easily accessible for the wider marketing team
- Track and manage your projects through its entire lifecycle, from briefing to post-production
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in creating and producing high-performing social media content (organic + paid )
- A strong portfolio showcasing scroll-stopping content, trend-driven creativity and social storytelling
- Confidence and charisma on and behind camera, with an innate ability to connect with an audience
- Expertise in mobile-first editing tools like CapCut, InShot, and in-app platform editing. Experience in Adobe, Photoshop, Figma and Canva preferred
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, their nuances, and how to create content native to each
- A sharp creative eye with an ability to blend high-taste aesthetics with viral, relatable moments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects while maintaining quality and brand integrity
