We are looking for a VP of Growth, an experienced and self-driven leader of Little Spoon’s performance initiatives and strategies. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will continue to elevate Little Spoon by taking charge of our multi-channel growth strategy using data-driven and business intuition decision-making.
You will:
- You will lead a small but mighty team of growth marketers, and work cross-functionally with brand marketing and other teams to achieve business goals
- Define the strategy against key growth metrics, meeting and exceeding goals for growth through new customer acquisition and improving customer economics
- Create and help execute on sustainable customer acquisition strategies to enable and support Little Spoon’s business goals
- Be both proactive and reactive, planning one step ahead while being flexible enough to react to the ever-changing macro environment
- Bring a business and strategy mindset to growth marketing, using first principles thinking to ensure every dollar of our spend is deployed in the most efficient and rational manner
- Obsess over data to drive optimizations, constantly look for new opportunities to grow marketing spend while maintaining healthy economics
- Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement to rapidly test, learn, iterate and optimize
- Lead efforts across performance channels including paid social, paid search, influencer, podcasts, affiliates and more
- Work with our Analytics team to develop best-in-class tools to model and understand attribution and media mix impact
- Be a champion of initiatives that drive up order frequency, AOV and ultimately help us derive more value from every customer
- Lead the team that oversees the strategy and execution of CRM activities for both leads and customers
- Lead a high-performing team of performance and growth marketers, including managing key agency partners to ensure successful multi-channel campaign execution
- Oversee the testing and optimization process and strategy across channels
- Partner with VP of Brand to further integrate data and performance POV within our branded creative
- Efficiently scale performance marketing channels with a focus on profitable growth
- Lead efforts to explore, vet and potentially experiment with new marketing channels including TV, radio, direct mail and out of home
- Have a holistic view of the customer lifecycle journey, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities to remove friction and create value
- Oversee and scale existing and new paid acquisition campaigns based on CPA and expected customer LTV
- Develop and manage the performance marketing budget and partner with the VP of Brand on ownership of the Company’s overall marketing budget
- Stay on the cutting edge to help us see around the corner when it comes to the latest marketing trends, insights, best practices, channel features and strategies and competitive landscape
- Partner with Brand to continuously improve creative across channels to drive better performance
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth through cross-functional initiatives
You have:
- 10+ years of demonstrated success scaling a business as a digital marketing and growth leader for a high-growth e-commerce business
- Ideally, experience with a subscription business model, food and venture backed companies
- Previously led growth, performance, acquisition, and retention marketing functions
- Proven track record of scaling spend and driving profitable growth
- Knowledge of developing high-converting drip campaigns
- Experience managing and overseeing Facebook Ads, Google Adwords, Tik Tok / other new paid social, YouTube, SEO, content marketing, and Affiliate partnerships by using marketing analytics tools to remain organized and make decisions. Bonus points for knowledge of streaming/OTT, linear TV, direct mail, radio and out of home

- The ability to galvanize your team to help accomplish goals
